Special Meeting - November 18, 2011

Call to Order:

The special meeting of the Hope Welty Public Library (HWPL) District board of trustees was held at the library on November 18, 2011.  The meeting was called to order at 1:00 PM by vice president, Mary Hissong.  Present were board members:  Janice Lonnon, Genea Lawler, Nancy McDermith, Tracy Mogged, Chelle Shively, Mary Hissong and Library Director, Sandra Hayes. 

New Business

            IDOL requests and lawyer response - Library Director, Sandra Hayes reported the requested paperwork was sent off.   Sandi had contacted the lawyer. 

Nancy McDermith made a motion to give Chelle Shively permission to contact Collette McCarty, lawyer,  to seek further legal advice if the situation with IDOL makes this necessary.  Genea Lawler seconded the motion.  Roll call vote was taken with all trustees voting aye.  Motion carried.

            Date for open house for the public was tabled until renovation is complete. 

Next Meeting

            The next meeting of the HWPL board of trustees will be held on December 12, 2011 at 4:30 PM.

Meeting Adjourned 1:17 PM.
